UAE won against Ireland on the big stage again. Ireland was surely revengeful from UAE before entering the T20I World Cup qualifiers final. UAE won the Quadrangular series, which was between Ireland, Nepal, United Arab Emirates, and the host Oman. UAE won the series by a better run rate, as Ireland was on the 2nd spot with the same points.

Ireland vs. UAE

The match was happening in a very similar ground, which was Al Amerat Cricket Ground Oman Cricket (Ministry Turf 1), Oman. Ireland won the toss and decided to bat first. The decision was quite shocking as Ireland’s tactics always used to revolve around chasing.

When Ireland came to batting, they lost 3 wickets at quick successions. Their opening pair of Paul Stirling and Andrew Balbirnie were back in the pavilion only at the score of 19. He scored 7 fours and 8 sixes with a strike rate of 169.70. Muhammad Waseem played the important inning exactly when his team wanted. Rohan Mustafa was Anchoring the inning on the other side. He scored 37 runs off 35 balls. Andy McBrine took the wicket of Muhammad Waseem. UAE reached the total with 8 balls remaining. The United Arab Emirates won the match by 7 wickets.
