The T20I World Cup qualifiers for the ICC T20I World Cup 2022 started on 18th February. The matches of 21st February were:

Germany vs Ireland

The match took place at Al Amerat Cricket Ground Oman Cricket (Ministry Turf 1). Ireland won the toss and decided to bowl first. Germany made a target of 107 runs for 7 wickets. Faisal Mubashir and Dylan Blignaut led Germany to 107 runs. Faisal Mubashir scored 45 runs off 40 balls and Dylan Blignaut was on 22 runs. Ireland easily chase the target and scored 111 runs for 3 wickets in 13.1 overs. Paul Stirling scored 34 runs off 27 balls and captain, Andy Balbirnie scored 32 runs off 21 balls. Ireland won the match by 7 wickets.

Bahrain vs UAE

Bahrain won the toss and elected to bat first. David Mathias scored 46 runs off 35 balls not out with 2 boundaries and 3 six. Umer Imtiaz was on 42 runs off 40 balls. Bahrain set a target of 172 runs for 5 wickets for victory. In the United Arab Emirates innings, They lost their first wicket in the 2nd over. Vritya Arivand played exceptionally well and scored 84 runs off 52 balls not out. UAE ended on 170 runs for 6 wickets and Bahrain won the match by 2 runs.

Canada vs Nepal

Canada won the toss and decided to bat first. Nepal restricted Canada to only 80 runs. Canada was all out in 15 overs. Sandeep Lamichhane bowled very well by taking 3 wickets and gave only 12 runs. Kamal Airee and Abhinash Bohra took 2 wickets each and Kushal Malla took 1. Nepal chased the target of 81 runs in 14.1 overs. Kushal Bhurtel scored 34 runs off 37 balls and Dipendra Singh Airee scored 27 runs off 31 balls. They both led Nepal to victory.

Philippines vs Oman

The toss was won by the Philippines and they chose to bat first. Oman’s bowlers dominated the Philippines and the Philippines was all out in just 36 runs. Oman’s bowler, Khawar Ali picked up 4 wickets. Not any single batsman of the Philippines got a two-digit run. Oman’s batsman, Khurram Nawaz scored 33 runs and led Oman to win the match. Oman scored 41 runs for 1 wicket. Oman won the match by 9 wickets
